Track & Field Compete at Ichabod Invitational
Topeka, KS. — Fort Hays Tech Northwest Track & Field competed at the Washburn Ichabod Invitational on Friday and Saturday.
Sprints & Field Events:
In the 200m dash, Raheem McCalman placed 4th, with a time of 21.63 seconds. Jeremy Chales would finish just behind in 5th place, with a time of 21.83 seconds.
In the 400m dash, Raheem McCalman placed 22nd, with a time of 49.70 seconds.
Middle & Long Distance:
In the 800m run, Salisu Habibu led the way for the Tigers, finishing 27th, with a time of 1:56.71. Zakaria Anou and Ahmed Belouaer also competed, placing 46th and 50th with times of 1:59.93 and 2:00.72 respectively.
The Tigers' next competition will be on the 21st and 22nd at the Region VI/KJCCC Indoor Championships in Pittsburg, Kansas.
