Mavericks Wrestling Advance to NJCAA National Championships

The Northwest Tech wrestling team is all set to kickoff their 2017 NJCAA National Tournament in Council Bluffs, Iowa. The Mavericks, ranked #20 in the latest NJCAA DI national polls, will have six wrestlers that have advanced into the national tournament.

In the 125lb class Fabian Guerrero will wrestle; Jesus Morales 133lb; Dominique Evans 149lb; Ryan Snow 157lb; Turah Reed 184lb; and Odgerek Batkhishig 285lb. The Mavericks will be led by Head Coach Micheal Sebaaly and 285lb Odgerek Batkhishig who is currently ranked number #4 in the country. Congratulations to all of our Mavericks for advancing and becoming a national qualifier.
