Cross Country Competes at FHSU Tiger Open
HAYS, Kan. – FHNW Cross Country competed at the FHSU Tiger Open on Saturday, with the team placing 14th with a score of 406 points.
"It was a beautiful morning on an incredible course," said Coach Mendez. "I'm so proud of our team, they continue to give their best every time they compete. Every athlete ran either a personal or season best in the 8K, and it's exciting to see their progress as they keep getting faster and stronger."
Individual Results:
- Salisu Habibu placed 54th, with a time of 26:03.9
- Rhilin Turner placed 133rd, with a time of 31:54.7
- Noah Mitchell placed 134th, with a time of 32.05.9
- LJ Willis placed 137th, with a time of 33:26.3
- Riley Weilert placed 142nd, with a time of 37:29.6
Fort Hays Tech will now prepare for the Region VI/KJCCC Championships on October 24th, in Colby, Kansas.
